SOTO / DIRECTOR

Born in Spain, he moved to NY in 1998 where he began a career as a filmmaker, playing a key role in advertising and music video projects. A nomination for the MTV awards was followed by numerous awards for his social films in festivals such as Clermont-Ferrand and Oberhausen.
His recent documentary film on the Chernobyl disaster "Radiophobia" was broadcast among others on Aljazeera, National Geographic Channel, TVE, History Channel and Planete. The film received more than a dozen international film awards in international festivals such as the 2006 BIFF in New York, the ECU European Film Fest in Paris, the GFFS IFF in Seoul, Documenta Madrid 2006 and 2007 Punto de Vista Documentary FF both in Spain. This film was also present at numerous film festivals around the world such as Full Frame Film Festival, the 2006 Hollywood Awards and the L.A. FF and the 2008 Sacramento IFF.
Julio is currently working on a documentary film in Sudan where he portrays the work of Reuter's chief of bureau in Khartoum, Opheera Mcdoom and also working on the theatrical release of his documentary film "My Beautiful Dacia" shot in Romania and made possible with the support of Channel 4 UK, MDR Germany, SVT Sweden and TVR Romania.
Other achievements include a New York Foundation for the Arts fellowship and several national grants to develop his fiction film work.

MALFATTI CHEN / EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Adriana Malfatti has a long and successful experience in production, direction
and content creation for several Spanish Broadcasters. She directed
and presented Antipop, a TV magazine series about culture and
new trends which broadcast on Canal + Spain (1999-2001).
She also directed Tiempo Sincro, another series about
trends and culture shown on AXN Channel (2001-2002).
She developed and presented Plugin, a series focusing
on art, distributed by the Shots International magazine
(2003-2004). In 2005 she left her job as managing director to start her
own production company: The Thinklab.

TATAY / SCRIPT-WRITER & PRODUCER

Musician, writer, journalist, advertising creative director and founder
of many companies related to the world of creativity and communication,
Jose Tatay is one of those unclassifiable professionals for which creativity
is his biggest passion, a passion that he has shared with a lifelong dedication
to Nature and breeding animal species. He is currently an active member
of several herpetological societies and he is also one of the most reputed
breeders of newts and salamanders in Europe.
